Week 3: Jan. 25-31
PROMISED LAND
Pray | Strengthen | Send
Pray | Strengthen | Send
The final week lifts our eyes beyond ourselves and our church, toward the global family of believers.
We begin local, expand to national, and then pray internationally for God’s purposes to be unleashed across His worldwide household.
Jeremiah 29:7
“And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
We begin Week 3 right where we live. God places His people in cities, neighborhoods, and communities to be light.
As we pray for our city, we join God’s heart for every household, business, school, and street.
When God moves in a city, households flourish, churches thrive, and the kingdom advances.
Action:
Speak a simple blessing over your city by name.
Reflection Question:
Where do I long to see God move in my community?
Child-Friendly Version:
Ask children: “What good thing can we ask God to do in our city?”
Psalm 122:6 — “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’”
Lord, bless my city with peace, safety, and renewal. Move in hearts, families, and neighborhoods. Use me as a light where I live. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
Matthew 6:10 — “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Father, may Your kingdom come to our city. Unite churches, strengthen families, and let Your goodness touch every home around us. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
What does my city need from God today?
How can my household be part of God’s work here?
Isaiah 58:12
Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
God often moves from local to regional transformation.
As we pray for South Georgia and the surrounding region, we join Jesus’ desire for restoration, awakening, and spiritual breakthrough.
We also lift up the Williams family and the new work in Adel—believing God is planting seeds that will bear fruit across the region.
Action:
Speak blessings over South Georgia, naming nearby cities as you feel led.
Reflection Question:
Where do I sense God stirring regional renewal?
Child-Friendly Version:
Ask children: “What nearby town should we pray for today?”
Habakkuk 3:2 — “O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years!”
Lord, revive South Georgia. Pour out Your Spirit over every town and community. Strengthen pastors and churches across this region. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
Matthew 9:38 — “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Father, raise up laborers, leaders, and healthy churches throughout our region. Bless Adel and this new church plant. Let revival spread. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
Where do I see God at work in our region?
What regional ministry or church can I consistently pray for?
Psalm 22:28
“For the kingdom is the LORD’s, and He rules over the nations.”
Today we lift our eyes to the nation.
We pray for leaders, churches, believers, and the cultural landscape of America.
We ask for righteousness, wisdom, spiritual awakening, and healing across every state.
A nation changes when God’s people intercede.
Action:
Pray for national leaders by position: president, congress, governors, judges.
Reflection Question:
What burden is God placing on my heart for our nation?
Child-Friendly Version:
Ask children: “Who in our country do you want to pray for?”
Proverbs 14:34 — “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.”
Lord, bless our nation with righteousness and wisdom. Lead our leaders and awaken Your church across America. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
2 Chronicles 7:14 — “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Father, unify believers across our nation. Heal divisions. Strengthen churches. Pour out revival and renewal from coast to coast. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
What specific hope am I asking God for in our nation?
How can I pray faithfully for America this year?
Ephesians 4:4-6
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
The Body of Christ spans every continent, tribe, and language.
Today we pray for unity, maturity, purity, joy, and spiritual strength among believers worldwide.
What God is doing globally is bigger than any one nation—His Kingdom is advancing.
Action:
Pray for unity across denominations, cultures, and nations.
Reflection Question:
Where is God expanding my heart for the global church?
Child-Friendly Version:
Ask children: “Do you know people who love Jesus in other countries? Let’s pray for them.”
Colossians 1:18 — “And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.”
Lord, strengthen Your Body around the world. Make Your church united, pure, bold, and full of love. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
Psalm 67:2 — “That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.”
Father, bless Your global church. Empower believers everywhere to serve in every sphere of society and culture. Let the world see Jesus through Your people. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
How does unity in the global church reflect God’s heart?
What nation or mission field am I feeling drawn to pray for?
Hebrews 13:3
Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.
Today we stand with our brothers and sisters who worship secretly, suffer loss, face imprisonment, or gather underground for fear of persecution.
Their courage strengthens the whole Body.
Their joy in suffering reveals the beauty of Jesus.
We intercede for them as though we were in chains with them.
Action:
Pray for believers in closed or hostile nations.
Reflection Question:
How is God stirring compassion for the persecuted church in me?
Child-Friendly Version:
Say: “Some Christians have to meet in secret. Let’s pray God keeps them safe.”
2 Thessalonians 3:3 — “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”
Lord, strengthen the persecuted church. Protect them, empower them, provide for them, and let their witness shine brightly. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
Revelation 2:10 — “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Father, surround persecuted believers with courage, hope, and supernatural protection. Spread the gospel powerfully through their faithfulness. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
What can I learn from the global persecuted church?
How might God be inviting me to support or pray for them more intentionally?
Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
The mission of God is worldwide.
Today we pray for missionaries, church planters, evangelists, translators, pastors, and everyday believers who carry the gospel to unreached and resistant peoples.
When the church is unleashed, the world hears the good news.
Action:
Pray for missionaries by name. Pray for unreached nations and people groups.
Reflection Question:
Where might God be inviting me to join His mission?
Child-Friendly Version:
Ask: “Let’s pray for people who tell others about Jesus around the world.”
Acts 1:8 — “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Lord, strengthen Your witnesses across the earth. Empower mission workers, open doors, and draw the unreached to Yourself. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus’ Name I pray, amen.
Psalm 96:3 — “Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”
Father, make our home a place that loves the nations. Bless missionaries and raise up bold believers around the world. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
How is God stirring my heart for His mission?
How can I support global evangelism through prayer, giving, or going?
Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled
With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.
The final day lifts our eyes to the ultimate future God has promised.
We pray for worldwide revival, the spread of the gospel to every nation, and the return of Jesus.
Every household, every church, and every believer is part of God’s eternal story.

Matthew 24:14 — “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Father, make our home part of Your global purpose. Unleash revival in every continent and prepare the world for the coming King. [Pray from your heart.] In Jesus' Name I pray, amen.
What has God formed in me during these 21 days?
What steps of obedience or mission is He inviting me into next?
